WeBirr Merchant is an App that businesses or individuals can use to collect bill payment from their customers in a fully contactless manner. You create an invoice/bill with ETB amount & customer name, tell the payment code to your customer and collect the money all from your phone! Your customers can pay with WeBirr utility payment using any WeBirr supporting banking App /SMS/USSD services such as Commercial Bank of Ethiopia mobile app or CBE Birr text messaging service or any other bank and wallet app that supports WeBirr payments.The app is designed for point of sale type of transactions and it is based on payment code concept. The application generates payment codes that customers will enter to their banking applications to complete payments and you can immediately check if the bill is paid or not. The app is integrated with existing banking systems such as Commercial Bank of Ethiopia.
